No, that's inaccurate, although the Rams lost their final three regular-season games, to the Vikings, Lions and Colts, they still made it to the postseason as champions of the NFL's Coastal Division.

However, in the Western Conference playoff contest the Good Guys blew a 17-7 halftime lead and lost to the Vikings by 23-20, their offense was totally ineffectual during the game's second half. (Game performances like that are why, despite what some fans of our team hope for, Roman Gabriel will likely never make it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.)

That collapse seemingly destroyed much of head coach George Allen's supposed 'mystique' with the Rams players...
