Exactly who does this deal? Seriously he is a solid to really good DB but no way worth 26m and the compensation is stupid. Makes us look dumb for letting him go for so little our compensation besides draft picks was a guy who literally caught 2 passes in his NFL career and was awful on the Rams

Exactly right by having a warchest of $ for a rainy day is super smart. Yes imo we need an upgrade at the DB spot but like many have said we need to focus on the tackle spots. Just imagine we traded for Ramsey and sure the CB room would be upgraded but we find out neither Quesenberry or Humphries are not cutting it in training camp what would we do we would have zero $ to address this. Sometimes inactivity is a blessing and in this case McVay/Snead did the right thing and let the market come to them.

All current resources or i should say, most, need to go into backup plan at Offensive Tackle. There's Alaric's situation that stretches from missing no time to retirement (no clue) and there's ancient, old-man, last remaining ST. LOUIS Ram Havenstein. Keep that spendable 10-20 Million at bay in case of Emergency. Being bad at Tackle can torpedo a Super Bowl season. We got vets like Stafford and Adams that are a year at a time.

This might be Tomlin's last year. Not sure how much say he had in the decision but sounds like they are "all in" this season with a has been CB. It will be interesting to see what Rodgers does this year.

Could you imagine, being all in with this current Steelers roster? Good lordy! Especially against teams like us, the Chiefs, and about five other teams…

I’m gonna say this right now… The Steelers MAY get a wild card spot. Maybe get lucky and win the wild card, but not going anywhere close to SB.

I find it interesting that no one is talking about the mouth’s on Aaron Rodgers and Ramsey… if this team loses, you best believe these two are gonna bitch and moan and be complete cancers to the Steelers organization. Implode begins!

Actually, I suppose that it makes the McVay/Snead regime seem slightly less stupid by comparison; our team would look even more foolish except that the third-round draft pick the Rams acquired turned out to be a solid selection (Byron Young).

Four years later, Jalen Ramsey now finds himself on another team apparently heading into an 'all-in' season, I'm highly doubtful that this time around will prove to be quite so successful... :? :x

With the Steelers going all in, look for them to fall flat on their face. The geriatric signings are not the same as what the Rams did.

In the AFC north, I think the Ravens are still better, the Bengals haven’t lost many players, and the Browns may finally show some improvement.
Cant wait to see Metcalf lose his shit when Rogers doesn’t deliver.
