After he warmed up he had some nice throws, especially the sideline throws to Stoops and Edwards. He shoud do well in the UFL.

It was also pretty obvious in the 1st qtr that the Rams 3-4th stringer OL couldn’t compete against the CLE starters, esp with Bojourquez pinning them back. Winn definitely got better as the competition got more balanced.

Rams roster is set, but it's a secret

“Rams coach Sean McVay revealed on Monday that the team's 53-man roster is set, but the team doesn't have to announce anything until tomorrow, so they've decided to take their sweet time.”

I'm glad they are waiting. They always try and do right by the players and give them the earliest opportunity to sign elsewhere. This year we need to wait as long as possible and keep it close to the vest. Maybe a player or two will slip through if we do it in the chaos and at the same time as all the other teams. There is no sense giving a team like the Niners an earlier shot at our WR and OL.

Sidebar, I'm sure most of us remember waiting for the scraps of other elite teams and better run organizations. Being a shite team and hoping for the leftovers was a miserable existence for a long time. Supplemental draft too. Now we are the elite team and better run organization.

I heard Brennan Jackson gone, not sure if its true.

“ The Los Angeles Rams have made their first mildly surprising cut of 2025. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams are waiving second-year edge rusher Brennan Jackson.”

I like Jackson. A good pick-up for someone. We knew this roster looked deep…….

Desjuan Johnson might be moving into a hybrid DE/OLB position ala Hoeght so keeping him would save a roster spot. I hope Jackson makes it to the PS.

Brennan Jackson isn’t the only 2024 draft pick the Los Angeles Rams are moving on from this week. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Rams are trading KT Leveston to the Cleveland Browns for a 2028 seventh-rounder.

The Rams selected Leveston in the seventh round last year, so they’re essentially recouping the selection they used on him a year ago.

Leveston was competing for a roster spot at left tackle this summer, playing relatively well in the preseason. He has guard-tackle flexibility, which adds value, and it’s clear the Browns like his potential enough to give up a draft pick for him – even if it’s only a seventh-rounder three years down the line.

If true about Paul I’m like everyone else why over Reeder if this becomes the case. We have not seen enough of Reeder by now? McVay n Sneed should be asked to explain. I know Paul is hurt so hopefully that allows him to get to PS. His film doesn’t lie from college.

Leveston don’t need an explanation but I didn’t see anything to say I wouldn’t rather stick with him for a while than say Acuri…………..

Per Source the Rams are waiving EDGE rusher Jamil Muhammad.

Assuming he clears waivers, the Rams are bringing him back on the practice squad.

Cut down reminder: Waiver claims and practice squad details....With the cut down deadline coming in 15 minutes, here's a quick reminder of what will come AFTER the cuts.

Although each team has to trim their roster down to 53 players, that will not be each team's final roster. All 32 teams will be allowed to put in a waiver claim for any players who are cut and if they have a successful claim, that player will immediate join their 53-man roster and they'll have to make a corresponding cut.

All 32 teams will also start the process of putting together their practice squad. The practice squad can consist of up to 16 players and six of them can be veterans who have four or more years of experience. That means each team will be able to carry 69 players.

Shawn Dolac is the only UDFA to make the Rams 53 man roster. I was hoping for Wyatt Bowles as well. Hopefully, he lands on the practice squad.

This roster is so solid. IF CPjr. is the only qualm, I think we are going be alright.

One of the big praises of Dolac has been how quickly he learned the defense. Pooh might have the tools, but maybe Shula’s defense wasn’t yet clicking for him, so they couldn’t put him on the 53. Just guessing.

The rams are 26th pick out of 32 teams for waived players. I loved Pressley but as you say he most likely will get poached.
