Rams Nate Landman is NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Landman has been named the NFC defensive player of the week for his effort in Sunday's win over the Texans, which included 10 tackles and a crucial forced fumble in the fourth quarter. Landman played 98 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps and 30 percent of special teams snaps and stepped up big in a 14-9 victory.

I am beyond happy with Nate's play on Sunday. The Rams ILB unit really needed a bounce back game after they were humiliated by the Eagles in the playoffs.
The only thing better is if Nate was from the EastBay like yours truly. Oh ya he was, he went to Monta Vista HS in Alamo, CA.

Not bad for a guy Raheem didn't want. If he continues to play consistently like this, he just might bump Ahkello as the best bargain in the league

I like the L replacing the S. When McVay refers to Landman, he sounds like he’s calling out a superhero name. Colors and helmet and face are better here. I also prefer golden and silver age comics.

Can't say I watched every game in the League/every defensive player, but Landman was impressive for sure.
Looks like all our scary young dudes have their defensive QB back there now

I'm still dumbfounded how ATL let him go. He played enough starter snaps/games for Raheem and staff to have a strong pov. It wasn't money, he wasn't a malcontent, players seemed to like him yet he was let go.
Where I started to feel this way was all the talk out of training camp it felt Puka like when he was a rookie in training camp the star standout and then he is rewarded the C designation after being here a couple months after being let go by the Falcons it just doesn't add up.

What a difference not having to have the O cover for the D and the D actually covering for the O. We lose this game with Raheem's D.

Between this and the draft we are fleecing Raheem (who also netted us a third round pick a couple years ago).
Raheem going to Falcons may be as big a change as Hershal going to Vikings in 90's lol
