Blake Corum has arrived
Blake seems to be integrated into the offense and is playing well, while KW struggles

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
I like Corum. How about lighting a fire under the ass of KW instead of giving him all snaps? He’s slow in the hole. Gets tripped up a lot. Corum has better vision and appears quicker.

Got a chance to meet his parents at the game. They were so happy he got to show what he could bring today. Very nice people.

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
I agree with your opinion…….
I’m not sure why one can’t compliment one player while recognizing the other player is damn good also. KW has great vision at the LOS which has already been proven…….
Rams have one really good RB. If Corum plays like he did today we may have two……..

Happy to see Blake get off, he appears to have gotten his burst back. No disrespect to Kyren whatsoever, he does all of the dirty work.

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
you are correct. better to have 2 good RB's vs one. hell we haven't even seen Jacquez yet eitherNorCal RF wrote: ↑September 14th, 2025, 2:45 pmI agree with your opinion…….

I have no issues with KW. Nice to see the rams have a back to hand off too, when KW is struggling.
2 headed running attack works best

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
He’s a good blocker. He’s not an explosive running back in the least. Gets tripped up a lot. Runs up the o line’s back. But he’s a 3 yard cloud of dust back. Corum more elusive.

Corum brings the explosive element to the rams rushing game, while KW is more of a grinder.
They compliment each other. Some games KW style is best, while others games Corum more explosiveness is best (like today). A nice mixture of the two will be beneficial

I'm a big KW fan!
But I'd like to see the other backs get worked in there just a little bit more.

2>1. I hope it gets closer to 50-50 so we can get through the grind and have legs for playoffs. Good on Blake for working like a pro and earning it.

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
Agree. Kw is maybe a better receiver and blocker but as a runner CORUM is better imo.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑September 14th, 2025, 3:26 pmHe’s a good blocker. I still think think Hunter might be better than both of them. Maybe not this year, but love his speed. He seems to be more dynamic than either of them.

Re: Blake Corum has arrived
That's for sure. I don't understand why McVay doesn't mix the two up like other teams do. I mean KW isn't Barkley, Robinson or Henry. Until we get that kind of back in the backfield, McVay needs to spread the love. It might be a good idea to get the rookie involved some too.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑September 14th, 2025, 1:53 pm I like Corum. Re: Blake Corum has arrived
I'd like to see more of him too but it takes McVay a while to trust young RB's. Once he has full confidence in Corum we will see more of him. This game was a step in the right direction but he still only got 5 carries wo William's 17.
I agree with others that he looks a lot faster.
