It's Game Day.
• Stafford will test the niners corners tonight.
• Rams D front will terrorize Mac Jones.
• McCaffrey hasn't been efficient on the ground through the first four weeks, averaging only 3.3 yards per carry. Will this remain the case tonight?
• Corum has cleared this line in two of the past three games and has had at least eight rushing attempts in each of the past two. His usage is encouraging, as the Rams will want him involved in the backfield to keep Kyren Williams fresh. Los Angeles' offensive line ranks 13th in run block win rate and is talented enough to neutralize the 49ers' defensive line. With Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall ruled out, the Rams could play with a lead, further benefiting Corum.
• D. Adams is the definition of touchdown equity, commanding the most red zone targets in the NFL and the second-highest target share overall. If Los Angeles scores through the air, there's a strong chance Adams is on the receiving end. Anytime touchdown is the core bet because Adams' volume and usage fully support it, but for those chasing bigger payouts, there's a longer shot that is worth a sprinkle. Adams to score two or more touchdowns (+750)
• Where the 49ers might have an advantage is with their own defensive line, but the group will need to produce more than they did in their Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, when they were unable to record a single quarterback sack or hit. The defense did record five hurries — their only single-digit pressure total this season.
• Tutu will make another big play tonight.
The Rams are 3-1 for the first time since 2021, when they started 7-1 and won the Super Bowl.
The Rams have covered all four meetings since the start of 2023. Four of the past five meetings have gone over the total.
Since the start of last season, overs are 10-0 in 49ers games following a loss.
The 49ers are 0-6 ATS as underdogs since 2022 (including the playoffs).
I see this game going to the Rams, by 8.

Re: It's Game Day.
the line opened up at 3.5 and now it is at 8.5.....Rams should run away with this one due to all the injuries. granted I know that probably won't happen but it should

NO way they run away with anything vs the niners. Too much rivalry. But just once...I would love to watch a game without any doubt and without the baby heart attacks.

Unfortunately from my health aspect, itsj ust something we need to learn to live with. The Rams do not beat anyone bad enough to where we can relax in the last 8 mins of a game . They dont discriminate. They play everyone down to the final gun.

Very even matchup IMO. They have a tough defense. I hope we can beat em on the ground and control the game there.

Re: It's Game Day.
Niners 28th run offense with CMC. Niner stats are good because they played some shite teams. Things will start to normalize after tonight.
Etienne ran for 124 yards on them and you can bet McVay saw that.

Time for the Rams to dominate; employ 12 personnel to protect Stafford.
Time for the Defense and the Offense to dominate.
Rams 35-9ers 17

Interesting you bring up the 12 personal... as it's a hot topic today and many agree. Just saw this write up on it Claremont...Claremontram wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2025, 1:01 pm Time for the Rams to dominate; employ 12 personnel to protect Stafford.

The Rams have utilized more 12 personnel this season, but against the Indianapolis Colts, they were back in 11 personnel at an 85 percent rate. As mentioned in last week’s keys to victory, that should have been part of the game plan based on the looks that the Colts would give them. While the Rams will be without Tyler Higbee, they should get back to more 12 personnel looks against the 49ers.
Ever since McVay arrived in Los Angeles, the 49ers have done a good job defending the Rams in 11 personnel. The Rams have averaged 4.8 yards per play against the 49ers in 11 personnel since 2017 compared to 6.1 yards per play against other defenses. Against 12 personnel last week, the 49ers matched with heavier packages, playing four or fewer defensive backs at an 84.2 percent rate. If the Rams utilize 12 personnel, they should be able to get favorable matchups on the backend in the secondary. Last week out of 12 personnel, the Jaguars were 6-for-8 and averaged 6.38 yards per attempt which was the ninth most in Week 4.

We have a great opportunity to lead the division after tonight. They just have to be dialed in. And I have faith they'll be dialed in. We're gonna win this.DelMar wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2025, 7:53 am • Stafford will test the niners corners tonight.

Re: It's Game Day.
Holy. I did NOT realize those were his numbers. Oh yeah, hes definitely been dialed in this season. I can see why Coach puts the ball in Staffords hands. Do you realize, that he could possibly pass Bulger with the 3rd most TDs in franchise history this season if he has 20+ TDs?

Re: It's Game Day.
I predict the Rams will treat the 9ers tonight, the way they used to treat the Falcons and Saints when they were in our Division...
Remember going to Crumblestench with TJ Rubley trying to beat Steve Young? Now it's our turn.

Delmar:
Good point; covert 12 personnel with Puka who plays like a TE. Need to also employ the big TEs to back up our RT tonight. Chip then fade into the flat for an outlet pass.
Really want to shit-stomp the 9ers tonight. Time for some stomp-ass football; hope you are all ready.
Go Rams!
