WTF was Shula doing today
Yes we easily won but against a rookie QB. We had only one sack against a team who was down all game why not rush five or blitz way more especially a roomie QB. This soft schemes will not work against good teams especially like SF.
Because he had a bunch of deep throws that should have never had time to complete. Shula overall needs to be more selectively aggressive.

Looking forward to the replay, but was that overturned Young sack a bogus roughing call?

Not really it was helmut to helmut barely and Shoeck was leaning down so his body was lower causing the bad hit. I hate these calls and they should be an optional call by ref.

Maybe that's it. They didn't need to blitz today, and didn't want to give SF any film to study.

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
Damn Shula. You again gave up zero points in the 2nd half, 10 total in the game, and the second least points in the league………
I’m thinking we should see if we can trade for a DC that has been in the league for 20 years…….
We should never give up a point or a yard against a rookie QB……….

Inferior team this is not Philly, Det, SF, Seattle, GB, TB lets see how we do against teams that are playoff bound.NorCal RF wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2025, 8:30 pm Damn Shula. You again gave up zero points in the 2nd half, 10 total in the game, and the second least points in the league………

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
ToP was 43-16 in Rams favor
1st downs were 30-10.
I think that was as thorough of beating as you can put on a team in a parity league like the NFL.
Other than kicking I think these last 2 games have been very good football. You can still play good vs bad teams and I think the Rams did that vs Jags/Saints.
The real test is next 3 weeks

I hope Raheem Morris gets fired in ATL so we can get him back as our DC. Shula sucks so bad he's gonna get hired as a HC.NorCal RF wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2025, 8:30 pm Damn Shula. You again gave up zero points in the 2nd half, 10 total in the game, and the second least points in the league………

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
So that great SF team won by 5, not 24, against that inferior team and NO had the last possession to go win it. They out rushed the Niners and had over 20 first downs……….malibu wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2025, 9:01 pmInferior team this is not Philly, Det, SF, Seattle, GB, TB lets see how we do against teams that are playoff bound.NorCal RF wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2025, 8:30 pm Damn Shula. Another over dramatic take by you. When are you going to realize it’s a week to week league. What you did yesterday, oh by the way this teams yesterday was damn good, has nothing to do with next week…….
Oh by the way we all know what happen in Philly. But let’s not forget the dominant first half by the D that game………

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
Year after year , malibu is the same clueless dude . LOL
The defense played like shit against the 49ers AND in the second half of the philly game . Outside of that they have been GREAT . Those 2 collapses are concerning but I am hoping it won't happen anymore. ( so far it has not )

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
Im sure you saw the previous SF game and we got killed by Mac Jones because of exactly this time of defense. My point isn't that Shula did a bad job it was we need to be more aggressive rushing 5, blitzing more so QBs can't get comfortable. It is easy to comment on inferior teams we beat up on, well wait to we play this style of defense against Det, Philly, TB, GB that have much better QBs than the Saints/Balt/Jville those teams have better Olines and stronger wr corp. Since our CBs imo are not strong our Dline must get home or get the QB of his spot thus disrupting his timing.NorCal RF wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2025, 7:53 amSo that great SF team won by 5, not 24, against that inferior team and NO had the last possession to go win it. Re: WTF was Shula doing today
For me, it's just when he starts w the soft prevent D. I was very happy with our play in the first half, then when we came out in the 3rd qtr, we sort of went to the bend dont break prevent. I am sure he does this to mix things up and give the guys more rest? Not really sure, but there were times where I questioned the schemes... but overall...he's doing a phenomenal job overallNorCal RF wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2025, 8:30 pm Damn Shula. Re: WTF was Shula doing today
"Rams has look good bc the weak teams they played" narrative is false when compared to the rest of the nfl.

Re: WTF was Shula doing today
These is a big if, but imagine those numbers if the Rams’ second half in Philadelphia was even 70% as good as the first half
