That McCarthy Kid playing QB for the Vikes is flying under the Radar. He's lookin like a good one.
They've won both his starts, on the road vs Division Rivals.
Pack lost too today. Don't sleep on Minnesota.

Former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo didn't exactly look like a 'defensive genius' with the Chiefs in Buffalo today, their defenders had plenty of foolish misplays and missed assignments.

Patrick Mahomes seemed to be 'off-&-on' in his performance vs. the Bills... :-o

RAM SEASON!!

Ben Johnson is now head coach of the Bears

Now the Bears offense looks creative and explosive and while the Lions offense while still explosive, lacks the creativity that Ben Johnson brought to the team.

Morton is a clear downgrade.

Losing Zeitler and Ragnow on the oline has been more than noticeable. They're playing bad football up front.

Lions D is and continues to be very meh under Campbell.

I can see the Lions having a rough second half of the year. Especially with their injuries adding up. They lost the LG today who was probably the 2nd best oline player they had behind Sewell.

Looks like a 10 win team. Not a real threat.

Sam Darnold, 13-13. 229yads, 4 TD's with 4:34 left in just the 2nd Quarter! 28-0 and the Hags get it 1st to start the 2nd half.

What’s the QBR on this? Like 158.3 (perfect score btw)!

insane numbers.

Best part is the Vikings having to witness this. 🤪

Ahhhh well, apparently counting on other teams (except the 49ers) to defeat the Seahawks, that doesn't seem to be working at all well for our team, does it?

If there was only some way that the Rams could engineer a couple of Seahawks' losses, I'm just wondering precisely how that might be accomplished...??  :?:

Darnold is playing out of his mind.

“ According to ESPN Research, there have been four instances of a player recording a QBR of 97 or higher in a game this season and Darnold has three of them. The others are his performances against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5 (97.4) and the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 (97.3). Darnold's three such games are tied with Tom Brady (2007), Tony Romo (2014) and Lamar Jackson (2019) for the most by a starting quarterback in a season Since ESPN began tracking Total QBR in 2006.”

I still don’t trust him after his showing last year with the Vikings. But maybe he has gotten better. The two Rams/Seattle games will tell a lot.

Commanders have taken a surprising step backwards this season

Lets ALL stop and think about this for a minute:

• The Carolina Panthers, yes, the Panthers, are 5-4 and have a 41% probability of making the playoffs after Sunday's win IN GREEN BAY. I couldn't believe what I was watching in a quad box as Jordan Love struggled against…THE PANTHERS!

• Did you know the Broncos are 7-2 and two full games in front of the Chiefs, who would be out of the playoffs if they started today? I watch a ton of football and didn't realize the Broncos had gotten that far out front. Yes, the Broncos still have to play the Chiefs twice.

• The Lions are currently the No. 7 seed. Yeah, but they'll be fine, they have a great team. Detroit still faces five teams who are over .500 and the Vikings. If there's a sign of hope for Lions fans, it's that the Bears, Panthers and Vikings are the teams chasing them.

• Could it be the 7-2 Patriots? They still face the Jets (TWICE), the Dolphins, the Giants, Bengals and the Ravens, who are still under .500.

• I know you old timers wil hear the name Bob Trumpy and think of a cold, December day in like 1983 and you're watching NBC, and he's broadcasting with Bob Costas or Don Criqui. SW Ohio has been blessed with an incredible resume of broadcasting and journalism talent. Bob was on the Mount Rushmore.

This post defines a league that is week to week. It also defines your season isn’t over in week 4 or week 9 after a loss if you are still around .500 in the later. It defines you have to move off of a loss quickly and get on to the next week……….

Bears and Panthers are not bad especially if Young is healthy. Vikings can hang if McCarthy plays ok. JMO Lions are not a given. Goff did not play well yesterday. Under threw a lot of passes………….

I was reminded in the Bronco game how much I despise Sean Payton. What a dirty hit on Stroud and no one is going to convince me it was done by accident………….
