Rams Mock Draft - Beta Testing.

Post by GlendoraRam »

Here is the Rams mock draft I will be implementing. I would like a few users to test it out and report bugs or features you would like to see. It is still beta... beta... beta.

Glendora,

What a nifty piece of programming; nice job. All of these potential draft picks by position at our fingertips.

Good job!
I want a LT with our first pick.

it is going to be very interesting to see what McSnead does with the ATL pick. I honestly could see them trading back. I hope they do not but because there isn't a clear stud QB in college this year, IMO, I could see them going we are happy getting multiple guys so maybe move back and little and get more picks. Hope I a wrong.
If they do pick I think they go LT/CB/LB

It’s challenging, but fun to be creative. Tons of work to do. I miss the older programming tools. Now, they have automated scripts that generally mess things all up in the code.
I am doing it the old fashioned way. 👍

Anytime. It is 90% functional. I may add some more features soon.
When you click Save/Download it will create a PNG image of your picks that you can post here.

My very early Mock Draft results. After the season concludes, I will update the player database for a more precise listing of players and draft rankings.
For now, I think I am done with the coding.
Give it a try and post your mock.

and, of course let me know if you spot any bugs or have suggestions for additional features.

I don't know half of these guys but I went by their respective rankings.

I dont know if I entirely agree with that about the QB. There may not be one that is tearing it up, separating himself from the others, but that could also be a result of supporting cast, coaching, and scheme. I like Moore the best, but Mendoza and Simpson are also guys I like. The big question will be, what does Mcvay think, and could he bring them to the next level. Ive always thought that was as important as what kind of stats they're putting together.

Yes. I will check into having the code directly cross post into the forum.
My concern is I do not want it directly posting into a random thread. And, with the way sessions are managed within the php code of the forum, it could be problematic.

You can now post directly to the forum. When you have completed your selections, click on "Save & Post to Forum". Then the image will show up, click on Post to Forum at the bottom of the image. It will take you back to the forum. Just click submit.
You will notice an error message that says "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." - Ignore that error and just click submit. The reason this error is occurring is because the Mock Draft Tool and the Forum do not share cookies or session ID's. It is a very tricky issue to overcome with introducing security issues. I do not know of any other site online that has the ability to cross-post images or inject content directly into a phpbb forum. So, in that sense, this is big progress. I will find a secure work around for this minor error.
In the meantime, post your mock!
