Yes I realize Rams focus should be a LT with ATL's pick....However
If Downs, OSU Safety, is there at 10..let's just say that is where the pick is...Should the Rams pick him?
Dude is arguably the best player in the draft, according to multiple sources
He is a ball hawk and would provide much needed help to our secondary.

Then with the Rams pick later in the 1st round they can focus on OT which is a deep draft.

I also love Arvell Reese LB from OSU....Rams need a stud LB IMO. I realize McSnead doesn't covet this position but this dude can flat out play.

I say if we can grab ANYONE from the Ohio State Defense next draft, we grab them.

I have never seen a college defense so dominant in college. Its crazy. Yes, they have somewhat a weaker schedule, BUT only one team has scored 16 points on them, the rest? average comes out to about 8 points.

This year, it's OSU, then everyone else... and it BLOWS. Cant stand OSU.

Bulldawg, in here (and a Georgia Univ alum) is scared to play OSU.... and he knows why... and for me, if USC played OSU, thanks for shopping Trojans... lights out. This OSU is just too dominant.

Side note: USC BEAT OREGON this week! ✌🏼🌹

Landman is our stud lb. We need OT, center and CB. But also, we will need to draft a qb eventually. Staff is playing at a high level but we don't know how long that will last. At that age it can go downhill really fast ( knock on wood that it is not the case)

Rams need a tackle. Havs bordering on done. No one in house. CB and WR. Adams in 30s. Outside Puka, WR room is bare. But we knew this. Then the QB question. Please stop mentioning Bennett as long term guy.

Can find other dudes in FA. Rams will have money. TBH, next year is the all in year.

The one team I think gets blown out immediately is Indiana in the playoffs... maybe im wrong.

Yes, agree. We have been getting better though. Maybe we can peak at the right time. (It is also not fair for me to compare this team to our past teams.)

Agree. They cant keep kicking the QB issue down the road another year. Dont go solely on 2925 college stats. There WILL be a QB available who Mcvay and Stafford can groom. Planning on passing on a QB and look for a retread vet isnt a plan. Look at Pitt LV, NY, NY, Clev. It typically doesnt work.

Now, if Mcvay comes out and says that Stetson is showing signs he can be the guy, i trust Mcvay. I havent seen Stetson in practice, but if he isnt, there will be no better time that 2026 to get that guy..

totally agree but what I don't want them to do is draft a QB because they feel they have to. If ATL continues to lose we are looking at a top 5-10 pick. Some analysts are calling Downs an Ed Reed type of player. Now I have no idea if he is but if the Rams deem him to be and he is available then IMO you can't pass on him. Also the LT position. It is going to be a very good draft for LT's. Going to be looking at the top 1-2..can you pass on that?
I watch a lot of college football and the QB play is beyond average

Absolutely should take him. We need a stud corner. I'd be ok with us drafting 2 CB's and a LB in this draft.

LT with the ATL pick? I don't see that happening. Also, you say the Rams need a stud at LB and they have 2, Verse and Young.

It's not like we haven't taken two players from the same team before. If there is a dominant team in college football and we can snag two of their top players then why not? A ballhawking safety and another stud LB beside Landman would put this defense over the top.

I am trying to understand why LT is a pressing issue. Do folks think that Jackson is inadequate? I can understand RT with Hav retiring although McClendon is doing a good job.

Why do you say we need a RT, McClendon has played great every game he has been in. To me the OL suffers at C Shelton week in week out always grades the lowest. Next off-season especially the ATL pick will be huge.

players get injured all the time. OT is the top priority in the offseason IMO. Teams draft LT's all the time and put them at RT, look at the Chargers, so IMO you take the best OT with that top pick. But like I said before I love Reese and Downs so I would not be upset if they took one of them either.

He would be a perfect fit for our defense because we play a lot of DB's and ask them to do a lot. If we lose Lake he'd save us 12 mil a year too. Curl is a FA and so is Durant so we will need to add bodies in the secondary. Some safeties are worth a top 10 pick and can really change a game like Ed Reed, Earl Thomas, Jamal Adams, Buddah Baker.
