Really down about last night's loss
Not only the loss but the way the team just seemed to coast in the 4th quarter
While this team has enough talent to win, but i just feel like they're not able to put together a complete game consistently
ST gaffes can be cleaned up thru coaching but I don't see it happening
Secondary is also a big vulnerability - but at this point, it is what it is
This one really deflated my enthusiasm for the season...the only hope is that it's a lesson learned and they take this into the playoffs

My first reaction right after the game was...these guys are gonna be pissed and fired up. Wake up call. Kick the shit out of everything in the way from here out. Looking at the Dotson play. Intentional by #58. That has to fire up the team. F that guy. He may have cost Dotson the season- just for being a total di%$.

Re: Really down about last night's loss
What I find most disappointing is that Matthew Stafford has had an All-Pro level of performance at QB this year, however now it's likely to end up being pretty much wasted on merely a 'wild card' playoff berth.
For a player in his late thirties, that type of season is an obvious outlier, I'm certainly not expecting it again next year...

Re: Really down about last night's loss
No penalty for this act, he should have been kicked out of the game and a one game suspension is clearly not enough, disgusting...bleep them seacheats...RAMFAN71 wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 12:56 pm My first reaction right after the game was...these guys are gonna be pissed and fired up. Well put C -where we are going to end up in the playoff hierarchy will diminish the great performance of Matt Stafford. MVP from maybe 7th seed Wild Card ? Does not seem right or appropriate.

Re: Really down about last night's loss
I honestly have been struggling all day. Couldn't even fall asleep last night till almost 1am and was up a 5am.
Very, very VERY difficult to sit there and watch a train on the track heading for the cliff.
Worst part was, was those last 9 minutes and then overtime, as it seemed like 4 hours..
Especially when they took 10 minutes to reverse the backwards pass, to fumble, then TD call... Then, overtime... it was a slow death... very slow death... then when the Hawks scored the THIRD 2-point conversion to win the game, that is when I flatlined (according to my wife who was scared in the corner of the house... lol, not really, but she knows to give me space when the Rams are on).
It really wasn't the loss either, as we are still going to the playoffs and I think we will actually perform better being the underdogs... (according to our history being the dogs)... BUT it was HOW we lost. That was the most painful part. You could see it Seans face, Sneads Face and even Stafford's face when he was on the bench and the Hawks were driving for the final score in OT...
Talk about the absolute worst. Ugh.
I will say this, if this Special Teams units causes yet another loss, especially in the playoffs... I cant imagine how this forum and all Rams fans from around the world will react. Talk about 'WE TOLD YOU SO'... The hate will be real.
