Last nights version of the 49’ers is concerning.

Yes I am worried because all this team does is win with replacement personnel. What I would do is not mention the 49ers on the Rams forum until a game situation happens. I would focus worry about Atlanta.

What happened to the Colts D? 9ers had that dink and dunk, run from the shotgun going on pretty much all day.
Colts D looked like they were playing prevent, most of the game. 5 straight L's for them now.

Not going to lie. Impressed w Shanahan this year maybe more than ever. 11-4 w Mac Jones starting most games. Not that Purdy is special. But still. Injuries on D tho Bosa is overrated. Have some young guys on defense as they’re rebuilding there and Saleh is a good coordinator.
Indy is the first winning team they’ve beaten and they’re in free fall. They’ve had a soft schedule. Rams destroyed them last game and pissed away the game earlier in year. But SF has every chance to get 1 seed.

Look at them Cowboys, 3rd easiest sched in the league and all they got from it was 6-8-1.... but all their guys are Pro Bowlers... honest.
7 of the top 8 Weakest scheds played are Div leaders or teams solidly in the Playoffs.
Also noticed the 2 divisions that played the NFC West this year, both the NFC and AFC South are well represented among the tough scheds.

Looks like a lot of pretenders in there... that's why I think the playoffs will be interesting no matter where the Rams seed.. My only worry is playing in cold or wet conditions out east.

Re: I can’t be the only Ram Fan worried about the 49’ers
somehow someway the 49ers always give us a tough match in the trenches, they block us well no matter who's healthy or playing, it's fucking annoying, if we do face them i hope our "pro bowlers" at the OLB make Purdy's day very uncomfortable
also ill say this for the 7000th time, Shanny plays the short yac game 100% of the time, Purdy cannot make all the throws, Shula does not defend the short yac game 100% of the time, the bend but don't break game is not the approach to take with the Niners because that's their comfort zone

Re: I can’t be the only Ram Fan worried about the 49’ers
Rams have already played the Niners twice this year, so they won't face them again unless it's in the playoffs....so....No, I'm not worried about them.
Playoff time is when the best teams play and it's an honor to get there. Those are must win games IMO.
I know it's a cliche but I'm interested (not worried) about the Falcons

Great find.
To me. We’ll see this in the playoffs… teams that just cruised into playoffs will find out real quick, what a tough game is. Although I’m not sure the Pats are for real or pretenders yet.

The 9ers are a collective nightmare that won't go away; I have spent many hypnagogic moments pondering their relentless appearance.
Could be Rams vs Them in the Conference finale. Wouldn't that be special.

Losing that game against them in LA was terrible. That should be the most important game of the year and annually send all of those fans at Sofi home with a loss. Now it could be a double whammy.

Re: I can’t be the only Ram Fan worried about the 49’ers
The only thing I’ll argue about the 49ers is that Rams HFA doesn’t really matter. It’ll be a SF home game whether it’s in SOFI or in Santa Clara.
That said, I still think at Seattle would be a tougher game. SF isn’t physical and the Rams can win a shootout with them.
If Seattle/SF matchup for the division I’m pulling for the 49ers. Even though Purdy > Darnold, I think playing in Seattle is way harder than in SF.

The 49ers strength of schedule will go way up after playing the Bears/Seahawks. Honestly if they win both they will be on one heck of a role waiting for the Rams

I always worry about the Farty Whiners. I still haven’t recovered from the 18 game win streak that happened in the nineties.

Part of what made the 21 SB win sweat for me was that we took down them stinkin 9ers in the NFC CShip on the way.

I for one am not worried about the 49ers. Their defense isn't good - but yes, their offense is pretty impressive.
But after that Seattle game, I think it's pedal to the metal for the Rams. They will roll their opponents in the playoffs.

49ers always worry me. They're a solid, talented, well coached team who knows how to bring it when they need to. With CMC, and Kittle the offense is dangerous. Might be playing better than anyone right now

Re: I can’t be the only Ram Fan worried about the 49’ers
Unless Warner and Bosa make a miraculous return...I am not worried about the 49ers. We manhandled them at Levi in the last game (up 42-20 with 5 min left) and the mystique or fear factor with them is not what it once was.
I honestly think we roll the Niners or Seahawks in the playoffs. Our losses to them both are very flukey. Eyeball test says we are the best team in the NFC West. We have a focused, motivated coach, HOF QB, and will be getting Davante and possibly Lake back. I like our chances vs. anybody.

Re: I can’t be the only Ram Fan worried about the 49’ers
Well, obviously my current concern for our team involves defeating the Falcons tomorrow, followed by the Cardinals a week later, in order to lock up the NFC's fifth playoff seed, which would mean that the 'wild card' Rams' first postseason road contest would be at a warm-weather location (Charlotte or Tampa).
The 49ers have been thriving on their fourth-place schedule this year, however I'm expecting the Seahawks to dominate them in the regular-season finale, whether that game is meaningful to the 49ers or not.
So to me the Good Guys' current concerns should be as follows: (1) The Falcons; (2) The Cardinals; and (3) Hopefully, the Panthers or Buccaneers.

Yep. Im worried about the Falcons. I dont trust this team 100% right now. As history shows, they often play to their opponents level, and keep teams in the game. Plus I hate prime time games.
Rams need to turn their offense in to a track meet for 60 mins. If they keep it close, Bijon may be a factor.

We can never feel comfortable about this Rams team in whoever we play. Only team we flat whooped from beginning to end was the Bucs. We just like to keep things interesting.
And the Rams offense need of having to run like a track meet the entire game is thanks to the Shula-Soft secondary.
Prime time games seem to be our kryptonite…
But I think we do ok. We’ll go bird hunting the next two weeks w wins, then off to some owners cold for first round
