Now that the Rams cannot win the NFV West, I am curious how they play this evening.

Heading out around 5:00 to head to the game. They better play very well! This is a critical game for Stafford and his MVP candidacy. Game is not near as exciting as I thought it would be back in June when I purchased the tickets.

Re: Rams @ Falcons Live Game Thread
They need to give Staff a huge game for his MVP push, and they need to dominate to restore some trust and credibility from my perspective. And oh yeah, the draft pick too!
I just dont trust this team as much as I did a month ago. Too many physical and mental lapses.

Re: Rams @ Falcons Live Game Thread
It's actually a low stress game for me. It's been a long time since I can say that. Mcvay hiring his buddies and not holding them accountable, has already cost the Rams the 1st seed. I would like to at least get the 5th seed, but it's not as big as a impact as getting a 1st seed or winning the division.
Imo Rams finish strong and win the next two, even if JG starts next week. I'm guessing Mcvay and Shula doesn't play tight tonight and let it all hang out, now that 1st seed is gone. I'm expecting more pressure packages and Stafford continuing to air it out, as long as the OL holds up

The Rams will need to win next week too to finish 5th ahead of the SF/Hags loser so they can play the NFC South Champion and not @ the Eagles. They'll play their starters til the game is in hand is my guess!

I think we are an amazing team when behind the 8 ball.GlendoraRam wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 7:55 am Now that the Rams cannot win the NFV West, I am curious how they play this evening.

Just from experience in the McVay era, Rams tend to get a bit gun shy when favored. But to your point, I am also interested to see how we react. Do we come to play or do we come to just make it through another road game... do we care to win? To me, it's always the most healthiest and on fire teams at the end of the season you need to worry about.... and right now, and how we handled the Seattle game, Rams are not that team. But you know who are those teams, yup... two other NFCW teams that want to win, and win it all.
Will be interesting to see indeed. How will our Rams respond? Will we fight and show some passion?
Goodness, I sure hope so..

I agree with you, but last year in a similar situation, Mcvay rest starters.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 3:24 pmI don't get you guys and the resting starters, play JG gig?Cornell29 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 2:07 pm It's actually a low stress game for me. Though the Rams clinched the division in Week 17, they are still playing for playoff seeding. Los Angeles would finish with the No. 3 seed with a win or a tie against Seattle or a loss by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A Rams loss and a Buccaneers victory would give the Rams the No. 4 seed.

I see. The difference is they were guaranteed a home playoff game last year but I'm still surprised. I must've missed that or bitched about it!Cornell29 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 3:57 pmYesRampager66 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 3:53 pm

Re: Rams @ Falcons Live Game Thread
Been watching Mevis warm up. 45-48 seems to be his most comfortable distance. He missed one 55 yarder and two 60s. (Also made a few 55 yarders.) Both 60 yarders were middle but short. One hit the bottom crossbar. 56-57 seems to be his max range.

Atlanta kicker made his 60 yarder and 58 with 4-5 yards to spare. (Not sure if you guys care for this info or not.)

I can’t decide who’s worse.
Ryan Clark or Mina Kimes.
Rather listen to nails on a chalkboard instead of listening to these two woke jokes.

Re: Rams @ Falcons Live Game Thread
Falcons defense ranks 9th against the pass, and 25th against the run.
Should be able to pop off some good runs even with a few starters out along the offensive line.

The Rams will come out strong tonight and also take care of AZ next week. They will go on the win the Super Bowl and none of you will even care what seed they were.

I would run the football and do not risk throwing behind a line missing this many guys. Falcons got a couple dudes in Leonard Floyd and their high priced DT that are free agents after next week. They may be playing to extend their careers and get one more payday tonight.

Atlanta has a really good RB, TE, n WR to go along with a top tier pass rusher. This won’t be an easy game…………
