Bottom post of the previous page:
I can’t figure out why some posters hate on Stafford. Does he have off games? Yeah. So does Allen, Mahommes, etc. Does anyone remember when the Rams started Keith Null? UghPlease Login or Become a VIP Member to Remove Advertisment

It's unfathomable to me quite honestly.RAMFAN71 wrote: ↑January 12th, 2026, 7:06 am Just insane if anyone thinks THIS year is the year #9 has to go? What are you watching? In the past...maybe? But now? This year he's the MVP of the league. I'd like to keep him on. See if he has another year in him. He's not infallable....but we are losing games with the offense putting up 25-30 point. It ain't Stafford.

Re: Stafford needs to go
What people need to realize is that Staff def has is off qtrs... where not much if clicking... the thing that I have learned w Matt... you need to give the man ALL FOUR qtrs.... because we usually win the game, w his one, maybe two ON FIRE qtrs...
"Judge a man not by one qtr, but by the content of ALL 4 qtrs"

Re: Stafford needs to go
Normal fan frustration.
He can go off but then which QB doesn't !!
We need to ride him as long as we can and he is producing. I think that's at least another 2 years.
Then I'm pretty sure McSnead will trade for a vet - I don't believe they have patience for a draft project other than a backup like Stetson.

on paper right now the 2027 draft for QB's is going to be good. I do see them drafting one in the next 2 yrs.DVA_ram33 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 4:53 pm Normal fan frustration.

And this is why no one should be surprised if they trade a 26 1st round pick for a second 27 1st round pick…………

Just NOT this year, this is not the year to sell the farm to move up and grab the top QB's available...
'27, should be BANANAS. Just look at this list...there are about 6-7 potential starters in here... Prob the best QB list I have seen in years...

Re: Stafford needs to go
the only guy I could see the Rams taking this year in the 2nd or 3rd round is Mateer. He hasn't declared yet but this kid has a ton of potential. You are correct though about the 27 class. Going to be a good one

Re: Stafford needs to go
This^ right here tells me this team will really try to trade one of the two 1st round picks in 26 for a second one in 27. They may not succeed but…………..
I don’t think this fan base should become enamored with any pick @ 13 because well we may not have it once the pick arrives on the first night…………..

Re: Stafford needs to go
One thing that will be interesting to see, is how the dynamics will work in Oregon. Remember, Raiola announced he was transferring to OR and leaving Nebraska, and this was before Moore announced he changed his mind and is sticking around one more year... so now, they have to top 8 QB's in the Country...
According to Oregon...
Dante Moore's Role:
• Starter: Moore will remain the starting quarterback for the 2026 season, opting out of the NFL Draft to continue his development.
• Mentor: He plans to guide Raiola, offering the same mentorship he received from former starter Dillon Gabriel.
Dylan Raiola's Role:
• Backup/Redshirt: Raiola, a former Nebraska starter, will back up Moore, potentially redshirting to recover from a leg injury and learn the system.
• Future Potential: This year allows Raiola to develop without pressure, setting him up for future starting roles in 2027 and beyond.
Implications for Oregon:
• Elite QB Room: Oregon boasts arguably the nation's best quarterback situation with two highly-touted players.
• Championship Contender: This depth strengthens Oregon's position as a top contender for the 2026 College Football Playoff.
• Developmental Strategy: It mirrors the successful path Moore took at Oregon, learning behind an established starter.
Player Perspectives:
• Moore: Expressed excitement about having Raiola in the QB room, emphasizing mentorship.
• Raiola: His long-term commitment is uncertain, but as of now, he's slated to be QB2, though he has options if he prefers to start elsewhere

Re: Stafford needs to go
not sold on Raiola at all. have you seen this guy run? He tries to copy Mahomes on everything. Oregon's 5 start QB that just announced he was going to Oregon has now re-entered into the portal. The way college football is now who the hell knows that is going to happen.DelMar wrote: ↑Today, 11:56 am

Re: Stafford needs to go
Lincoln Riley is a complete clown and most all the boosters want him gone... it's just his contract kills it. BUT, if we end up w 3-4 losses again this next season, you better believe he is packing his bags.ocram23 wrote: ↑Today, 12:04 pmnot sold on Raiola at all. have you seen this guy run? he has picked up a couple of transfer studs in the last week. If Maiovia, sp?, can stay healthy I think they will be ok. College football is a complete shit show right now. But yes I do agree with you about RileyDelMar wrote: ↑Today, 1:42 pmLincoln Riley is a complete clown and most all the boosters want him gone... it's just his contract kills it.
