Stafford needs to go
Build another era. Last couple years were cute. Not sure wtf this is. Play like ass when it matters? Demand contracts? Folding down the stretch and looking unathletic isn’t fun.

Re: Stafford needs to go
Stafford is fine; he needs protection and a ground game.
Our Defense on the other hand can be quite porous, and STs are still problematic.

Not Stafford. He hurt his finger, so that doesn’t help. I think it’s more the play calling.

McVay has a plan. If it’s on schedule. It’s elite. When it goes off kilter or defense or STs falter, he goes off schedule.

Re: Stafford needs to go
He’s for sure back next year but I absolutely would NOT extend him for 2027. QBs can fall off a Cliff at his age and for the Rams it’s not worth the risk. He played great this year. Maybe he still has something in 2026. But I think that’s it. Don’t tie up the cap in this guy as he nears 40

Re: Stafford needs to go
Matthew Stafford has only played five seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, but he's already broken four franchise records in the postseason.
Following the Rams' 34-31 wild-card win over the Carolina Panthers, Stafford became the Rams' leader in postseason completions (192), passing yards (2,292), passing touchdowns (18) and wins (six), per team reporter J.B. Long. Not bad for just a few years of work.

Ya I noticed that too..I'm thinking it was his way of confirming that he approved his comment at that time. But who knows what any of these "fans" are saying from one minute to the next..its like most of them are bipolar or straight up Crack heads.

I took it as he was knocking Felix after saying what he said in his OP. I could be wrong……..Henry VIII wrote: ↑January 11th, 2026, 10:32 amYa I noticed that too..I'm thinking it was his way of confirming that he approved his comment at that time. I saw your other post. You know I agree but have given up on the matter. I’ve tried trying to let some know, especially in the game thread, you really make yourself look like a bad fan when you react in the first quarter the way you do. But it only brings back comments of “forum police”, “free speech” etc so I’m now do your thing. If you don’t care about making a bleep out of yourself then why should………
But like I said recently I’ll damn well call you out after the fact if you come in here after a game and call out someone being negative when you were exactly that earlier in the day or the day before. And I dont give a bleep if that bothers someone………

I have to wonder about someone who advocates getting rid of the probable league MVP. He made some incredible throws yesterday.

Re: Stafford needs to go
I’m here hat in hand for the mea culpa.
But when he was under 50 percent completion and couldn’t pick up that first down with his legs I was frustrated.

Yep. Lots of passionate posters. I think it’s high emotions mixed in w some booze (or other narcotics, paraphernalia or marijuana) is involved.
What’s funny is you can see it w some posters in here, one day they are completely normal, then the next they want to fire everyone and kill puppies.

He started out 8 of 9 until he hit his hand. Then there was a lull for a bit.

Please ignore any of my posts Friday night after 9:00. We have always had beer posts. I have actually put together a pie graph which shows day of week and Mcvay has got to go.DelMar wrote: ↑January 11th, 2026, 11:16 amYep. Lots of passionate posters. Re: Stafford needs to go
It's like it has been infiltrated by a bunch of whiner or seahag fans. I gotta wonder?
There is no tougher QB in the NFL than Stafford. He has the arm and experience to win.

Re: Stafford needs to go
Just insane if anyone thinks THIS year is the year #9 has to go? What are you watching? In the past...maybe? But now? This year he's the MVP of the league. I'd like to keep him on. See if he has another year in him. He's not infallable....but we are losing games with the offense putting up 25-30 point. It ain't Stafford.

Re: Stafford needs to go
I can’t figure out why some posters hate on Stafford. Does he have off games? Yeah. So does Allen, Mahommes, etc. Does anyone remember when the Rams started Keith Null? Ugh
