The "I" formation to close out Whiners
Another wrinkle that McVay added with his new-found love of tight ends was lining up in the "I" formation to close out the Whiners when they ran the ball to try run out the clock. With a tight end lead blocking, Williams was getting great yardage when the Whiners knew the Rams were running the ball. Another great move by McVay. Nacua missing time may have just won the Rams another Super Bowl. Parkinson even had a great game, topping it off by recovering an on-side kick. Turd Ferguson is uncoverable by a LB down the seam. Higbee is being kept fresh, and Allen has been consistently good all season. 13 personnel has helped keep Stafford upright, and gives him a quick check-down if the opposing pass rush gets nasty. Go Rams!!!

Back in the day, the Greatest Show could beat you running or passing, I am starting to see some similarities.

I feel the exact same way. Puka missing 1 game added so many more elements to the offense, it may be unstoppable. And, the TEs are having a ball! Happy players, are productive players.Jack85Youngblood wrote: ↑November 12th, 2025, 9:24 am Another wrinkle that McVay added with his new-found love of tight ends was lining up in the "I" formation to close out the Whiners when they ran the ball to try run out the clock. I was sort of joking when I gave Puka a game ball the week he missed....but it really is turning out to be a blessing. We have a full roster full of capable play makers. And McVay is a genius coach reinventing his offense this year. Love it. They do look unstoppable.

It was awesome seeing Ike have that game after all the years of being the best thing on a crud team...
