Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Seattle is a tough Defense way tougher than Chicagos'. I also trust Darnold more than Williams so I see Seattle winning this. This is a very important game for both teams because the #1 seed is on the line.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Do you trust Darnold over Purdy? Charboney and Walker over McCaffrey? I don’t and SF is going to beat them. They are on a roll, peeking right now and no one has shown that they can even slow down McCaffrey.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Unfortunately, a good case could be made for McCaffrey as MVP, but I, too, think Seattle has a decent shot against S.F. The Rams collapse two weeks ago may have injected new life into Seattle. Watch out for Leonard Williams.
Unless the Rams beat AZ like 50-0, it’ll be hard for me to have faith that they can come out of the weird space they’ve been in since the Carolina mess, even with healthier players returning. It stinks feeling this way.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Seattle should win easily. If you think the Rams don't have a legitimate defense, SF certainly doesn't.
Seattle has a good D and a multi-faceted offensive.
I predict Seattle 28-13 or something in that ballpark.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
I have Seattle winning this one....I see them as the class of the NFC and that defense is peaking. Biggest weakness I see is Darnold....if SF can pressure Darnold he will cough the ball up

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Look who SF has been running it up against. They won't have chunk play after chunk play against the Hags D, one of the better D's and Seattles O is all about long, time consuming drives for points that cut down on their oppositions number of possessions.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Purdy has Super Bowl experience and is playing at home. Sam Darnold has been absolutely awful in big games.
I’m picking SF fairly easily. Shocked Seattle is favored by 1.5 points.
I think to beat SF you gotta score points and I don’t see Darnold being able to do it.

Guess who's 2nd in the NFL to the Rams in PPG? Hint, not SF... They're 8th.Truth wrote: ↑January 1st, 2026, 9:24 pm Purdy has Super Bowl experience and is playing at home. Sam Darnold has been absolutely awful in big games.

Did you miss Darnold leading the Hags to 3 straight 8 point TD's and 32 of 38 points 2 weeks ago tonight?
Was that not a big game? The guys 27-6 as a starter the last 2 seasons, with 2 different teams.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Since the Rams thrashed them at home, the Whiners have only beaten one decent team, the Bears. Last place schedule. No pass rush. Darnold will not be affected and will pick them apart. Rams need the 5 seed. Go Seachickens!!!!

Bottom line. If the 49ers lose to the Seahawks, and the Rams win on Sunday, the Rams with play either the Bucs or Panthers as the 5th seed.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
The Rams would drop to the 6th seed with a Seattle loss and if the Bears lose to Detroit and the Eagles beat the NYG, the Rams would be @ the 3 seed Bears for the WC round... because The Eagles would get the 2 seed.GlendoraRam wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2026, 7:30 am Bottom line. Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
SF's D, according to ESPN is last in the NFL with just 18 sacks and also last in pressure at 23%.
And the Hags are now not only missing their starting LT, his replacement the last 2 games is also banged up. Could be starting their 3rd stringer.

Re: SEATTLE BEATS SF
Interesting game. SF’s defense isn’t good. Chicago went up and down on them and even Phil Rivers put up numbers. Their offense has been unconscious but Seattle defense is really good.
